The Secret Bird Refudge

Ethan and Stephanie took us to this great park in Ogden. Taylor, Cameron, Mason, Aaron, and I all thought we had left Utah and found ourselves in Oregon or Washington. It was the coolest place. It had a main trail and then all these shoot offs the boys could go explore. Also a huge pond for birds to make their home, with bird houses built for them and islands created in the middle of the pond.
This picture is called Wait For Me by Mason Hull

Ethan wanted to see what the mother goose would do if he tried to get close. "hee hee"

Then later Ethan and Aaron started putting stuff they could find in the creek to see it float down. Ethan totally got caught up in the game. All 7 boys were dropping sticks and leaves up stream and then running to follow is down stream. Sometimes racing each other. At one point Stephanie and I heard Ethan yell " hey where's my stick!"

One night we even had a night with Carol and Richard in their backyard. This picture is too cute not to show it off. Cameron is always watching out for his younger brother Mason. We stayed at "Grandma and Grandpa's" until 10:00 sitting around the camp fire just chewing the fat. We had such a great week.

Looks like you guys had a great week! Samuel was counting down the days until his buddy returned to Woodruff!:) Isn't it great to get away from the day to day life back home.

Hey Betsy. You wouldn't know it was there unless you look behind the trees that are behind the swing set. It's up 40th. If your on 89 turn right on Harrison then right on 42nd Stephanie said. She thinks is Buess Park or attached to Buess Park. I hope that helps enough to find it on line.
