Fun with Taylor's
So I wanted to give a glance into Thursday with "Great Grandad." I saw Grandad tickling Cameron when he was in the hamick. He also held baby Jozie 6 or more time. He really seemed to enjoyed himself and felt comfortable hanging out. I was so glad. I think Taylor and Cameron will remember him now. I hope to see him in future years so Mason will know him too.
There is a fun picture of Josh giving me and Cameron a piggy bag ride, at the same time. Josh makes me laugh SO HARD.
Chad had Grandad hooked up to a tape recorder and got some really good stories.
Hope you enjoy these pictures.

Crystalyn's thoughts
I went to institute for the first time in my life. I went last Wednesday night. What I learned is so cool I want to share it with everyone. I can't stop thinking about it. I thought about calling my mom or writing a letter to Richard (Aaron's dad). Instead I'll just blog it. That way nobody feels obligated to listen and I still feel like I told someone.
I always kind of wondered who I was before I was born onto earth. Did I have a brain and to how much of a personality or interests did I have?
In the pre-earth life I was doing the same thing I am striving to do now. President Joseph Fielding Smith Jr. said, "during the ages in which we dwelt in the pre-mortal state we not only developed our various characteristics and showed worthiness and ability, or the lack of it, but we were also where such progress could be observed.
Elder Bruce R. McConkie said, "Being subject to law, and having their agency, all the spirits of men, while yet in the Eternal Presence, developed aptitudes, talents, capacities, and abilities of every sort, kind, and degree...No two spirits remained alike. Mozart became a musician;...Cain was a lair...Mary and Eve were two of the greatest of all the spirit daughters of the Father. And so it went through all the hosts of heaven, each individual developing such talents and abilities as his soul desired.
Elder Bruce R. McConkie explained: "The greatest and most important talent or capacity that any of the spirit children of the Father could gain is the talent of spirituality. Most of those who gained this talent were chosen, before they were born, to come to earth as members of the house of Israel...Though all mankind may be saved by obedience, some find it easier to believe and obey than others. Hence the concept, taught by Jesus, that his sheep know his voice and will not follow the dissident voices of the world"
I understand my place here on earth, because I understand who I am. Who I really am. I'm also exited because Rachel was right there with me in Heaven and that is who she really is.

Rachel and Aaron
Mason's Birthday Party
We invited the family up on Sunday to celebrate Mason's second birthday. It was a lot of fun. Aaron's parents Carol and Richard came. My parents Glenda and Mike came; and they brought Kristianna. It was great that Kristianna came because she hadn't had the chance to come for a long time. To make it even better Rachel and Aaron came too. Everyone was having such a great time I took a ton of pictures. The little red headed boy is Kristianna's boy Micheal. He is a lot of fun and a good kid. I hope we stay in contact enough to create a close bond between the cousins.
Happy Birthday Mason
Today September 22, 2007 is Mason's second birthday. He help clean the betters with his friend Mitchell Hopkin. The Hopkins live here in Woodruff and befriended us when we first moved out here. They are a lot of fun. They are the ones that showed us how to brand cows, cook in a dutch ovens, and wear Wanglers. All five of their kids are great kids.

Day at the Park
Rich High Home Coming
We went to Rich High's Home Coming football game last yesterday. The boys had a blast. With the help of there friend Tyus, they painted their faces. Aaron worked the chains for the game, while I got to watch from the bleachers. It was so good because Rachel and Aaron came up and watched with me.
Everyone has been asking how Rachel and Aaron are doing. AND they are doing really good. Her pregnancy is going very well. They are moving into a great, very nice, two bedroom, apartment next weekend. Rachel seems a lot more happy with who she is and confident in who she is. They both seem very in love with each other. They are also both being smart about things.

Mason our other rabbit
Today started as a normal enough day. Aaron's at work and Taylor is at home since it's a Friday. It became time to fix lunch and Cameron requests chicken salad. I think it great my 5 year old boy likes salads. The story gets more amazing when my 2 year old boy Mason wants some too. In the past Mason will eat 2 bites of my salads but today he wants his own. I served him up a normal child size serving of lettuce with Ranch. He then wants seconds, thirds, and fourths. I couldn't believe it. Taylor his 7 year old brother is only eating the chicken and cheese. Taylor says "mom he can have mine," which was a bigger serving size. We give it all to him and he goes down on it too. Mason eats Cameron's left overs next. When he gets done with it I ask Mason if he is "all done, do you want down?" He tells me no. What do I do he has eaten all the lettuce and chicken we have left. In the bowel there are tomatoes and cucumbers left. So I dump the whole bowel onto his plate just to see what he will do. AND he starts eating it. He didn't like them as much but found scraps of lettuce stuck, so he sucked the tomatoes clean and eats half the cucumbers. What a kid.
